March 1: Gimpel the Fool, an opera by students of Su Lian Tan of Middlebury College, was performed on our live broadcast on Saturday, February 15, 1997. It was performed by an instrumental ensemble of 16, chorus of 20, with five singer soloists. This was the only broadcast performance of the complete opera Gimpel the Fool!
